Websocket Settings

These commands are available three ways — in the FREE-WILi GUI app, in a serial terminal, and on the device itself. See Connecting it to a computer for how to reach them.

Start WS Server​

Turn the websocket server on or off

How to use it — press r.

WS Server Port​

Set the TCP port the websocket server listens on

How to use it — press p.

What you enter — value.

Auth Mode​

Choose whether the websocket server allows open access or requires a username and password

How to use it — press m.

What you enter — value.

Auth Username​

Set the username required to connect to the websocket server when basic authentication is enabled

How to use it — press u.

What you enter — value.

Auth Password​

Set the password required to connect to the websocket server when basic authentication is enabled

How to use it — press e.

What you enter — value.
