Sound Settings
These commands are available three ways — in the FREE-WILi GUI app, in a serial terminal, and on the device itself. See Connecting it to a computer for how to reach them.
Note: These settings live on the display CPU but are stored and saved by the main processor - the same sound categories the on-screen Settings (Display) panel shows.
Quiet Threshold
The mic level that counts as an active sound
How to use it — press f.
What you enter — value.
Speaker Volume
The multiplier applied to sound playback
How to use it — press v.
What you enter — value.
Recording Volume
The multiplier applied to mic recording
How to use it — press c.
What you enter — value.
Record Len Sec
The default length of a recording in seconds
How to use it — press r.
What you enter — value.
System Sounds
Sounds for system events (also gates all audio playback)
