WilEye Camera

These commands are available three ways — in the FREE-WILi GUI app, in a serial terminal, and on the device itself. See Connecting it to a computer for how to reach them.

Take a Picture​

Take a picture from WILEye and save its SD card or FREE-WILi's Files system by file name.

How to use it — press t. At the prompt, enter: Destination as a Dec (0=SDCard, 1=FreeWili) and String for file name, separated by space.

What you enter — destination, filename.

Start Recording Video​

Start recording video from WILEye and save it to SD card by file name

How to use it — press v. At the prompt, enter: file name for video (Will be saved on WILEye's SD card).

What you enter — filename.

Stop Recording Video​

Stop recording video from WILEye

How to use it — press s.

Stream AI Detection Events​

Stream AI Detection Events from WILEye

How to use it — press a. At the prompt, enter: AI Stream Mode (0=Off, 1=Pedestrian, 2=Face).

What you enter — ai_stream_mode.

Set Zoom​

Set the zoom level of WILEye

How to use it — press m. At the prompt, enter: Zoom Level 1-4.

What you enter — zoom.

Set Contrast​

Set the contrast level of WILEye

How to use it — press c. At the prompt, enter: Contrast percentages 0-100.

What you enter — contrast.

Set Saturation​

Set the saturation level of WILEye

How to use it — press i. At the prompt, enter: Saturation percentages 0-100.

What you enter — saturation.

Set Brightness​

Set the brightness level of WILEye

How to use it — press b. At the prompt, enter: Brightness percentages 0-100.

What you enter — brightness.

Set Hue​

Set the hue level of WILEye

How to use it — press u. At the prompt, enter: Hue percentages 0-100.

What you enter — hue.

Set Resolution​

Set the resolution state of WILEye

How to use it — press y. At the prompt, enter: Resolution Selection (0=640x480, 1=1280x720, 2=1920x1080).

What you enter — resolutionstate.

Enable Disable Flash​

Set the flash state of WILEye

How to use it — press l. At the prompt, enter: Flash State (0=Off, 1=On).

What you enter — flash.
