These commands are available three ways — in the FREE-WILi GUI app, in a serial terminal, and on the device itself. See Connecting it to a computer for how to reach them.

Stream Motion

Streams accelerometer and gyroscope data to the host at the given rate. 0 stops the stream.

How to use it — press m. At the prompt, enter: Sample Time in milliseconds.

What you enter — stream_rate_ms.

Stream Field

Streams magnetometer data to the host at the given rate. 0 stops the stream.

How to use it — press f. At the prompt, enter: Sample Time in milliseconds.

What you enter — stream_rate_ms.

Stream Env

Streams temperature, humidity and ambient light to the host. This stream is change-driven: the rate is a heartbeat floor, so samples can arrive faster when readings move. 0 stops the stream.

How to use it — press e. At the prompt, enter: Sample Time in milliseconds.

What you enter — stream_rate_ms.

Stream Orientation

Streams fused roll, pitch, yaw and heading to the host at the given rate. 0 stops the stream.

How to use it — press r. At the prompt, enter: Sample Time in milliseconds.

What you enter — stream_rate_ms.

Get Sensors

Prints the most recent sample from each of the four sensor groups.

How to use it — press g.
