Power
Nothing here can tell whether you want the Linux CPU running, so opening the screen powers nothing - Yellow does, and the button says which way it will go: "Enable" while the module is down, "Disable" while it is up.
Enabling switches the S17 rail (zone 17), its RUN/PG run line (control line 19) and the FPGA rail the bridge runs through (zone 6), all in one frame. The rail alone is not enough - with RUN/PG still low the module stays in reset and nothing ever answers. Enable Linux CPU in the Linux Functions console menu does the same thing, and the two always agree because both read the live zone state the PIC reports.
The label follows that live state rather than the press, so it flips a second or so after Yellow, once the PIC has applied the frame. Booting takes longer still, so the terminal can sit silent for a stretch after enabling.
Disabling drops the rail and the run line but leaves zone 6 on, since the rest of the firmware uses the FPGA. Leaving the screen switches nothing off - the module keeps running.
