Wifi

These commands are available three ways — in the FREE-WILi GUI app, in a serial terminal, and on the device itself. See Connecting it to a computer for how to reach them.

Enable Wifi Events​

Toggle Wifi Event Streaming

How to use it — press r.

Start Access Point​

Starts up Access Point with provided SSID and Password

How to use it — press a. At the prompt, enter: SSID, Password, Auth Mode [0-3], Hide SSID flag separated by spaces.

What you enter — ssid, password, authmode, hidessid.

Stop Access Point​

Turns off Access Point

How to use it — press t. At the prompt, enter: SSID and Password, seperetad by spaces.

Get Stations connected to AP​

Turns off Access Point

How to use it — press g.

Connect to a Wifi Access Point​

Connect to a WAP with provided SSID and Password

How to use it — press c. At the prompt, enter: String: SSID, Password.

What you enter — ssid, password.

Disconnect From Wifi Access Point​

Disconnect from Wifi Stations

How to use it — press f.

Scan for Access Points​

Scans for available WIFI networks

How to use it — press s.

Scans for available Wifi networks

How to use it — press p.
