App Signals

These commands are available three ways — in the FREE-WILi GUI app, in a serial terminal, and on the device itself. See Connecting it to a computer for how to reach them.

Add​

Adds an app signal.

How to use it — press a. At the prompt, enter: Signal name.

What you enter — name.

Remove​

Removes an app signal.

How to use it — press x. At the prompt, enter: Signal name.

What you enter — name.

Rename​

Renames an app signal.

How to use it — press r. At the prompt, enter: Old and new names.

What you enter — name, new_name.

Set Value​

Sets an app signal value.

How to use it — press s. At the prompt, enter: Signal name and value.

What you enter — name, value.

Get Value​

Gets an app signal value.

How to use it — press g. At the prompt, enter: Signal name.

What you enter — name.

Apply Wave​

Applies wave mode 0-8 (0 off; sine, triangle, square and saw at 0.5/2 Hz).

How to use it — press w. At the prompt, enter: Signal name and wave mode.

What you enter — name, wave.

Stream​

Streams every defined app signal; 0 disables streaming.

How to use it — press t. At the prompt, enter: Stream interval in milliseconds.

What you enter — stream_rate_ms.
